Bulgaria - First projects of Semi-Subsistence Farms under the Rural Development Program have been launched

State Fund Agriculture has approved the first 464 Semi-Subsistence Farms projects under the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2007-2013. Investments, which have been given a start, are at a total value of BGN 13.4 million.

State Fund Agriculture has approved the first 464 Semi-Subsistence Farms projects under the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2007-2013. Investments, which have been given a start, are at a total value of BGN 13.4 million.

From today, contracts for their implementation are dispatched to the Regional Departments of the Fund to be signed by the applicants on the spot. Under Measure 141 Supporting Semi-Subsistence Farms Undergoing Restructuring, small farmers who apply for European funding to upgrade their farms or to increase the size of their crops or animals are assisted.
