Secex data analyzed by Cepea show that Brazilian pork exports fell 26.3% from October to November, the largest monthly drop since December 2015, when they decreased 28.5%.
A total of 105,200 tons of protein were shipped last month, the lowest volume since January this year, also below the November 2024 figure of 111,500 tons. The cumulative total for 2025 (through November) exceeds that for the entire year of 2024, totalling 1.35 million tons, compared to 1.33 million tons last year.

As for slaughter, IBGE data analyzed by Cepea indicate that the volume of pigs slaughtered in the third quarter of this year was the highest in history, with almost 1.5 billion kilograms produced between July and September.
Compared to the previous quarter, there was a 5.3% increase, and compared to the same period last year, a 6.1% increase. Cepea analysts point out that, historically, the third quarter is the peak production period of the year, while the fourth quarter is the lowest.
