Vall Companys Group and DanBred Spain in Denmark

Last week, we had the pleasure of traveling with colleagues from Vall Companys Group to Denmark to take a closer look at DanBred’s latest developments in genetic improvement and production efficiency.

Key highlights of the visit included:

• A visit to the Rosvang selection nucleus, where we explored the genetic program in depth and reviewed current progress in efficiency, longevity, and sustainability.
• A technical discussion with Martin Mølgaard about the new breeding goals and their early results.
• A visit to the commercial farm Go & Gris, a practical example of DanBred genetics applied in a high-welfare production environment.
• A special thanks to Michael Agerley (Porcus) for his valuable technical insights and for sharing his experience as a DanBred herd advisor in Denmark.
