hkscan.gifAs part of its profitable growth strategy, HKScan has decided to start an expansion investment of the Group’s bacon plant in Swinoujscie, Poland. The investment will augment the unit’s capacity and provide state-of-the-art production technology enabling the Group to develop new products and improve its product quality.

HKScan’s production plant in Poland is one of the Group’s most technologically sophisticated units. The investment will enable HKScan to strengthen its position in the growing bacon segment and the high value added product category, which are both among the Group’s strategic focus areas.

The investment is valued at approximately EUR 12 million and it is scheduled for completion by the end of 2017.
