The 41-year-old native of Franconia (Bavaria) has a PhD in veterinary medicine and brings in-depth knowledge of the pig industry. As sales manager at German Genetic, he was successfully responsible for marketing the dam line breeding program for the past five years. This experience in sales is supported by his work as the manager of the AI studs at Bayern Genetik GmbH and, last but not least, as a practicing and advising veterinarian in veterinary farm animal practices in the German regions of Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Weser-Ems with intense pig production.
