Topigs NorsvinTN70 product performance, the high quality of the genetic improvement program, the local presence in Russia, the support of breeding specialists, and the breeding infrastructure of Topigs Norsvin were the main reasons for Cherkizovo to choose Topigs Norsvin.

Topigs Norsvin genetics clearly outperformed the competition in trials. TN70 sows proved to have a significant economic advantage over the competition when evaluating the performance from birth to market. Brad Heron, Production Director of the Pork Division at Cherkizovo Group: "The efficiency of our production is improved by increased reproductive performance of the sows as well as by better wean to market performance with a lower cost of gain. Using the TN70 therefore results in more profit per kg than the competition."

Maxim Zudin, General Director of the Agro Division of Cherkizovo Group states: "The results clearly demonstrate the economic benefits of Topigs Norsvin genetics for us. These results, in combination with the knowledge available and the desire to establish long-term relationships, make Topigs Norsvin the perfect partner for us. The process of depopulating and repopulating the multiplication system to a full TN70 program will allow us to reach the maximum genetic potential".

Martin Bijl, CEO of Topigs Norsvin: "We are very delighted that Cherkizovo Group chose Topigs Norsvin. It underlines that our products fit the needs of the professional pig-producing companies of the future. Also, it shows that our approach of building partnerships with state-of-the-art genetics and knowledge is successful."
