Big Dutchman China is pleased to announce two additional members to its executive team. Mr. Ron Lane joined Big Dutchman as the Director of Sales for the Pig business unit and, in addition, Mr. Bruce Zhou as the Director of Sales for the Poultry Meat business unit.
Mr. Lane joined Big Dutchman from Pacific-Genesus Inc. where he held the position of Business Director for Asia Pacific. He has accumulated extensive experience and knowledge in the agriculture industry on a global scale. Mr. Lane has over 41 years of consultant and practical expertise in the farming industry including government (nutritionist, specialist and development of the Pork Production Home Study Course); poultry, swine and ruminant feed sales; feed mill plant manager; swine farrow to finish operation; provincial supervisor of Feed Association Program and international development work. Mr. Lane, a Canadian native, has been living and working in China since 2000 with a broad range of experience in the global agriculture industry including the China-Canada Inner Mongolia Bio-Diversity Project.
Mr. Zhou previously served as the Head Technical Service Manager at Cobb-Vantress Inc., China. Mr. Zhou also has over 11 years’ experience in the poultry industry, serving previously as the China Head Technical Services Manager, Breeder Manager and International Sales Manager for Tyson Foods Corporation, China. Mr. Zhou has extensive knowledge, skills and experience in all facets of live poultry including design, construction, bio-security, pullets/breeders, hatchery, and broiler management throughout China. Mr. Zhou also received his Bachelors and Associates Degree in international business from Rochester, New York.“We’re excited to welcome these two newest members of our executive team,” quoting Brian McCawley, President and General Manager for Big Dutchman China. “We’re looking forward to adding their skills and experience to the team in the ever challenging Chinese market.”
