2016 SA Pig Industry Day

The annual SA Pig Industry Day will be held on Friday 26th February at the Barossa Weintal, Murray Street, Tanunda.

The Industry Day is supported by the SA Pig Industry Fund, Industry Partners, APL and SARDI and will be a collaborative effort featuring major technical and policy updates from APL and the Pork CRC.

The event will follow the format used for recent successful meetings at this time and venue, including seminars, a happy hour and an industry dinner, at which the 2016 recipient of the Ronald J Lienert Memorial Scholarship will be announced and presented.

The 2016 seminar program will balance practical aspects of optimising breeding herd performance with industry directions and changes, designed to keep everyone in the state’s pig industry abreast of important developments and opportunities.

The seminar program will run from 11am – 4pm, with an hour for lunch to allow for networking with Industry Partners.
