Ioan Ladosi

With over 25 years of experience in pig production science research and consulting, Ioan has started his career by managing a large scale livestock farm, followed by joining the academia as teaching assistant in the field of Farm Animals Reproduction and Embryo Transfer. 

In the second stage of his career Ioan worked as manager of a global animal breeding company with responsibilities over a team dealing with technical and sales activities of breeding pigs and bovine semen designated to East European farmers.  

In the recent years as member of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj Napoca, Romania, Ioan was actively involved in developing the curricula for swine production and animal welfare courses (bachelor and master levels), while conducting teaching and international research in the Pig production and Animal behavior and welfare domains.
