She graduated in 1985 in Brazil, from the University of Sao Paulo, where she remained for a year with the Clinical Medicine department under a research grant. In 1987, she started a collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim Brazil as a technical advisor to customers, in the development of new products and in applied research together with universities.

In 1990 she moved to Italy, where she worked as a veterinarian for Gruppo Impero on one of the farrow-to-finish 1,000-sow farms, in collaboration with this company’s abattoir, for some 4 years as the person in charge of economic and qualitative assessment for providers. In 2000, she started working as a consultant together with Pig Service and Josep Barceló. In 2003, she started working with Sus Scrofa Fundación Barcelò organizing courses in Italy. She also works with SIP Consultors and Pigchamp-Pro Europa.

She has ran the Italian version of Pig333.com since 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, she trained farm personnel in Russia, focusing on business management in Cherkizovo.

In 2014 she conducted consulting in Russia for Vetagro.

From 2016 to 2018 she collaborated with Carthage & Agritech Businees China with staff training and technical consulting activities.

Since 2018 she has been a consultant at JAPFA Company in Vietnam for staff training and technical advice.

Since 2019 she has been a consultant for DanAg China.

08-Feb-2017TelmaI you use paper without plastic, mainly just white papaer or newspapers or even some coloured magazine papers without plastic no problem..but....in fact if you have very small diameter tubes you may have problems, the best in this case is filling the manure pit with some water before using the paper, so it can dissolves better during lactation time. Most of the cases we have no problem with manure. You can do a test with the paper: take a sample on your mouth and check if it dissolves in contact with saliva, or even in a glass test full with water. Paper must be cut in small thin stripes as you see, some farmers use their on office paper destroyer machine.

Just wanted to comment on these feeders. It is the worst possible design with high lost of feed. Most of the prestarter you will find in the slurry pit. Small amount per one feeding does not help too much.
