What is the possible cause of this lesion found at the necropsy of a pig that had presented fever and lethargy?
Subacute ASF clinical picture 21 days after experimental infection. The animal showed fever for 1 week (>40,5), anorexia and postration. At necropsy the kidney showed petechiae in cortex.
The differential diagnosis should also consider other septicemias.
