A £2 million "Make the Promise" advertising campaign for Red Tractor pork is launched. It will run for 18 months.

Featuring advertisements in daily newspapers, women's magazines and high-profile poster sites it will challenge shoppers to give more thought to the provenance of the pork and pork products they buy, by always looking for the Red Tractor.

The campaign message will revolve around a challenge to shoppers to promise to "Give more thought to the pork on my fork".
