These figures do not include the use of chemical fertilizers in the greenhouse horticulture sector and the gardening sector, nor co-fermentation.

The drop in emissions is attributed to the reduction of 10 million kilograms in stable livestock and 9 million in the use of manure.

Ammonia emissions in 2010 are estimated at 114 million kilograms, 6 million less than in 2007, due to the prohibition of certain types of fertilization, the incorporation of two –stage
In 2020, 90% of the emissions will come from manure and only 10% will correspond to chemical fertilizers. Within the 90% corresponding to manure, more than half (54%) will come from farm droppings and the other 34% from the application of those droppings in fields. The emissions from grazing and manure storage are relatively low.
