The veterinary authorities have reported an outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease, the first since 2007.

The outbreak started at Tinali (Akzholskiy, Akzhaik, Ural’sk) at a village with 550 cattle and 1638 sheep and goats, all of them were destroyed.

Clinical signs as loss of appetite, fever, lameness and vesicles on the lips, nose and oral cavity were observed.
