On 16 April 2010, the new Minister Giancarlo Galan, after being sworn in to his new post before the Head of State Giorgio Napolitano, and in the presence of the President of the Council of Ministers, Silvio Berlosconi, took possession of his post at the headquarters of the Ministry.
