The new law of alimentary safety adopted by China, which comes into effect on June 1st 2009, establishes, among other points, that all companies that export food and drink to China must be inspected by the national authorities.

With the objective of facilitating the development of commerce, the Chinese authorities are willing to adopt simplified administrative procedures (for example, the possibility of making the inscription through internet), with the aim of speeding up each and every process.
