The new artificial insemination center (AIC) of Semen Cardona in the Philippines is going to become real during this semester, this current year 2018 the production of high-performance semen doses is going to be started from imported specimens from the best European genetics. Last week, the international manager of Semen Cardona, Jordi Coletas, visited the construction works which is progressing apace and the installation of the covers is already getting started. Jordi Coletas, also presented officially the project in the most representative exhibition in the sector at the Asian region, The International Farmers Summit.
From an agricultural area and surrounded by Philippine forest, in an isolated location far from swine assembly in this insular country, Semen Cardona Philippines will produce its doses with maximum bio security conditions and with the guarantee of the best genetics, from 200 boars selected and imported straight from Europe. The local production will improve even more the service Semen Cardona is already offering since a decade ago, thanks to the partnership with Plaridel, that it has been essential in the construction of the new AIC.
At the exhibition, one of the meeting points of the agricultural, livestock and agri-food sector in the southeast of Asia, Semen Cardona Philippines has recorded new two hundred contacts and has concluded important deals. In fact, the event is a very important meeting point to meet current and new customers, due the geographical complexity of the Philippines and the dispersion of producers in different remote locations nationwide.
