INVESAANIMEDICA Group has taken over all shares of INDUSTRIAL VETERINARIA, S.A. – INVESA with effect 11.07.2012.

ANIMEDICA Group is a German based company dedicated to development, manufacturing and distribution of veterinary products. The company has subsidiaries in Germany, Switzerland, and Poland. ANIMEDICA Group operates as a subsidiary of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, one of the largest agricultural trading and service companies in Europe.

Both companies ANIMEDICA and INVESA are well established in their countries with generic products. In recent years INVESA has experienced a strong growth, especially in exports, and it is currently present in more than 80 countries worldwide.

After the operation the location and structures of both companies will be reinforced due to their complementary activities. INVESA will keep all its brands.

The new Group will consolidate national market shares as well as will implement an ambitious plan of international expansion.
