The African swine fever (ASF) outbreak has been declared in a backyard farm with only one pig located in Gródek, district of Bialystok, province of Podlasie.

The farm is located some 13 km north from the farm where the first case in domestic pigs was declared last July 19th.

Moreover, the disease has also been confirmed in 2 wild boars found dead in the municipality of Gródek.

All the previous cases have been detected in the already infected area, that is subject to certain restrictions concerning African swine fever.
