Over 2,360 exhibitors from 49 countries all over the world gather from November 11 to 14 in the city of Hannover, the venue for Eurotier. The show, which is one of the main events in the industry of animal production and handling, increases its turnover, both in terms of exhibitors and participants, and international character with each edition.
Magapor, a regular of the fair, presents its portfolio of solutions for pig reproduction, from which stands out the new version of Bagmatic. Quality design and top performance combine in this packaging equipment specially conceived for high capacity boar stations, which packs up to 950 semen doses per hour. The quiet operation and simple maintenance requirements make this a high end product.
Magapor also enters the field of cryogenic preservation with a freezing system for pig semen doses. The bio-freezer Cryosperm BPM300 has been designed from the study of the real needs of boar studs and guarantees the accuracy and reproducibility of freeze curves during the whole process.
Apart from that, the star concept of the show is the RTC(Reproductive Toxicity Control) system, a set of chemical and biological tools to control the quality of plastic packages for semen doses. With the objective of guaranteeing the total traceability of each batch produced, the RTC system identifies each unit manufactured and matches it to its production date, origin and raw material. MAGAPOR launches to the market a product range free of Phthalates, PVC, BPA, BADGE and Cyclic Lactone, a group of harmful elements which presence in plastic packages for long periods of time may cause serious alterations in the semen dose contained and, therefore, in the whole process of insemination.
